Exciting new future for The Boat Business and SFM Marine

To our valued customers, past and present,

We are very excited to announce that The Boat Business is entering an exciting new phase of growth under the banner of SFM Marine.

After 18 years of being the only dedicated Mercury service centre in WA, integration with SFM Marine’s existing operations will allow the business to continue to grow and ensure our exceptional customer service continues to benefit boat owners across the State.

SFM Marine are one of WA’s premier names in the recreational and commercial marine industry and with two key locations at Henderson and Fremantle, they have built a reputation for quality, craftsmanship, competitive pricing and great support for all boat owners.
As part of the next stage of development for The Boat Business, SFM Marine are finalising an exciting new showroom/workshop facility in Fremantle. In the meantime, it is business as usual for all of our customers through mobile service vehicles with the convenience Henderson and Fremantle locations that can offer boatlifting facilities.

We are also proud to announce the new Fremantle location will also represent Suzuki Marine outboards. The addition of Suzuki provides The Boat Business’s customers with a wider choice across the leading brands in the industry.

Going forward with The Boat Business a part of the SFM Marine family, we will retain all mobile and workshop capabilities, with the same great staff and management. But we are looking forward to growing our team even further.
The transition will be smooth with Mark and I both continuing to work in the business and we look forward to working with the SFM Marine team and introducing you all.

We would sincerely like to thank each and every one of you that we have worked with over the past 18 years. It has been a great journey with a lot of hard work from all of our excellent staff and our interaction every year with our regular customers is something we are very grateful for.
